Las Vegas

My next destination was a place that has been immortalized in movies – Las Vegas, Nevada. I took an Air France via New Delhi – Paris- LA – Las Vegas. The last journey from LA to Vegas was in a small plane. I reached Vegas at night – the right time to reach because in daytime temperatures shot upto 40 degrees Celsius. Las Vegas is a desert by the way! I took a cab to my hostel – the Sin City hostel. On my journey I could see famous names like The Flamingo and the Bellagio. I put my baggage in my room and headed straight for the Strip – that is the name of the area where the famous hotels are located. I gaped in surprise at the expenses incurred to build such a beautiful city out of a desert. People were happily singing and dancing around. There are replicas of the Statue of Liberty, the Champs Elysees and the Eifell Tower. I entered The Venetian – a very famous hotel which looks like Venice with gondolas, and buildings. The next day I went to The world famous Bellagio fountains. Over the next couple of days I spent my time roaming around The Mirage and the Stratosphere – a very huge tower which has some fun games like sky jump.  It was fun!
